Scottish World Record

Indonesia sets a new Sky Lantern world record.

This story went round the world at the weekend and it got me thinking about possible world records we could set in Scotland.

We certainly couldn’t fly sky lanterns the wind would have them in the clyde or stuck in a tree setting the branches on fire,  but we could do a world keepie up record, imagine 50,000 folk on the pitch at Hampden all doing keepie ups at the same time, surely a world record!  Or what about a world Irn-Bru drinking record, 10,000 bodies in Georges Square all downing a pint of Irn-Bru in a oney! You’d get an added record of the world’s largest collective burp right after it too!

What does everyone think? What world record could we set in Scotland?

mmmm i’ve not had a macaroon bar in years. I remember the old guy on the stall next to my dad’s in the barrowlands used to sell that and toffee that came with a wee hammer. Cannae beat that stuff, probably why I have the belly that I do now.
